🎶 Banger of the Day
I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song. I was drunk in L.A. The afterparty for a fancy tech conference had just let out. Some fast-talking CEO of a $50M startup ordered us a car (big black Chevy Suburban). A group of us filed into the back. CEO-guy took the front, grabbed the aux, and said “listen to this”.
It was a sound so beautiful. Like nothing I had ever heard. Orgasmic.
I sat in the back row, nestled between two conference baddies, my phone in my hand, nestled between my two knees, feverishly shazaaming the song. Turns out, it was:
Kraftwerk - The Model
Kraftwerk were one of the first electronic music groups to ever get popular. They hail from Düsseldorf, Germany. They sound new but they are actually a very old band.
SIDE NOTE: On Instagram, we pair each post with a song that bangs. A lot of people don’t know that we have a comprehensive Spotify playlist with every song we ever played. Click here to check it out. 🎶
