They say the sentiment about AI kinda seems to depend on where you live. People in developed economies tend to be pessimistic of it cuz it means a threat to the comfortable status quo, people from emerging economies tend to be optimistic, cuz it means a new opportunities for improvement.
I ran my own poll on IG to see if these findings hold true with you guys..
📊 POLL: Are you from a developed or developing nation and, when it comes to AI, are you optimistic or not optimistic?
👉 Running the numbers: So 38% in developing/emerging countries are optimistic about AI, and that number drops to 24% in developed countries.
That makes people in developing countries are 50% more likely to be AI optimistic! The study holds true!
